Devices and gadgets has become an everyday part of everyone’s lives thus having more and more companies being interested in discovering what would interest the public to use making our everyday lives easier to deal with. Living in the era of high tech gadgets almost everything and anything has become possible and acquirable. This the age where what seems impossible 10 years ago has become not only a possibility but a probability. We are used in scaling stairs or building with the use of an elevator and escalators, however these contraptions has never been suitable for a middle class family. Escalators can never be considered to be built in a home with modest dimension since it covers so much space. The same goes with an elevator though it does not cover a big space like an escalator it still needs an ample amount of area to be put up. With the two devices elevators are the most common apparatus that rich people opted to build in their homes since it is easier to operate and wheelchairs can be easily maneuvered into it unlike the escalators where safety is not at its best when used by persons with disabilities.
With few options to choose from the stair lift Queens was invented. Though introduced to the public in the 1930’s it mainly serve persons that has become victims of polio. Because the public was not educated on the usefulness of having a stair lifts at home only few have actually installed it in their houses. But because of the new age of electronics the stair lift Queens was re introduced to the public with a more precise concept and advanced scientific knowledge making it more user friendly as well as environment friendly. It is by far the cheapest piece of equipment in helping people to ascend and descend a flight of stairs.
Since the materials are not as elaborate and expensive as those of an elevator and escalator. Its materials mainly consist of a straight rail track that is secured on the steps of the staircase. Compare with a curved staircase, a straight stair is easier to fit with rail tracks since it only needs straight rails requiring lesser customizations which could mean cheaper cost on installation and manufacturing. With this concept being introduced for the benefit of individuals who can no longer climb the stairs of their homes their mobility has become more freely and fun.
